Robert Musemeche, P.C,
a 35 Year History
Rob Musemeche is the founder of Musemeche Law, P.C. He is a native of Houston, and graduate of the University of Texas – Austin in 1985.
Rob received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the South Texas College of Law – Houston in 1988. While in law school, Rob was on the law school’s nationally recognized and prominent moot court team.
Indeed, in 1988, Rob was on the three-member team that won the National Championship in the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy (Moot Court) Competition, beating out 134 other law schools from across the county. After law school, Rob began practicing family and civil trial law under the mentorship of the renown Houston-River Oaks trial lawyer, Tom Alexander, (1930-2008) where Rob quickly built a reputation for being an aggressive, smart and well-prepared courtroom warrior. In fact, Rob has devoted his entire career to the practice of trial law and prides himself on being a creative and solutions-oriented lawyer. In fact, Rob has shown, time and again, an ability to resolve even the most complex legal matters, finding creative solutions built on forward thinking and solid case preparation. With 35 years of experience practicing family and trial law, Rob Musemeche is widely recognized as a leading authority in the field, with a successful track record of handling even the most challenging cases. Rob Musemeche is not only board certified in family law, but he is also a board-certified trial lawyer. This unique skill set combination and notable accomplishment of being “double” board certified distinguishes him from 99% of all other attorneys in the Houston – Galveston area. Every lawyer licensed in Texas is permitted to appear in all Texas state courts. But, in addition to Texas courts, Rob Musemeche is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, which is a unique and distinguished honor that requires special peer review and strict acceptance by the Supreme Court itself. On a more local level, Rob Musemeche is on the Board of Directors of the Galveston County Bar Association, and a member of the Houston Bar Association. Finally, on a personal level, Rob enjoys sailing, deep sea fishing, traveling, skiing, the performing arts, and like most Texans, college football. Rob is also a recurring cast member with “Night Court – Lawyers Entertaining for Charity.” Now in its 30th year, Night Court is an all-lawyer comedy, music, and dance theatre production written and performed by lawyers, on a set built by lawyers, with an orchestra and crew full of lawyers. It’s performed live every August for four nights at the Hobby Centre and has raised (and donated) well over $1,400,000 to local charities, including Lone Star Legal Lid, Child Advocates, Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA), Houston Volunteer Lawyers, Houston Area Women’s Center, and others.
